The team was awarded the iconic trophy, presented in an exquisitely crafted Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. The presentation was made by Jean Arnault, Louis Vuitton’s Watch Director, marking a moment of triumph and celebration for the British team.

The trophy trunk, created in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshops, embodies the brand’s legendary craftsmanship. Covered in the signature Monogram canvas, it features blue and red lines that form a bold “V” for “Victory” on the front doors, symbolizing the triumph of the INEOS Britannia team. This bespoke design also reflects the aesthetic spirit of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Barcelona, merging heritage with innovation.

The competition saw five world-class challengers – INEOS Britannia, Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, NYYC American Magic, and Orient Express Racing Team – battle it out over three intense phases. The format included two Round Robin elimination stages, where each team raced the others twice, followed by a best-of-five Semi-Final and a best-of-seven Final.

INEOS Britannia’s skill and strategy allowed them to conquer the tournament, securing their place to face off against the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, in the final match on October 12.
