ADULTHOOD X PLAY: A life well lived
A life well lived must include movement. There are no if and or but’s about this one. You’d be brilliant to never depart from play. For some reason, becoming an adult is assumed to let go of one’s childlike self. There’s no room to dabble around with toys anymore. Do you want to get some movement in? Go to the gym and play with weights like a responsible adult. Here’s the thing though... the average human doesn’t need to be training like an athlete. Keeping in touch with one’s childlike self can be enough to meet the daily required quota for movement. It’s fun, like actually fun ... it might even be the solution to actually staying active for life.
Maybe the secret to a healthy long-lasting lifestyle is “play.” To let oneself be free with no pressure. It’s an act that snowballs into longevity for actual change. Isn’t the world heading for sustainability anyways? Be a part of the change.
