A$AP Mob Artist A$AP TyY Collaborates With CroxxHatch To Release 25 Pairs Of Customized Nike AF1

A$AP TyY flies around New York City on his motorcycles, ATVs, and even his conventional cycle, with the friends he grew up with, popping wheelies and doing tricks in Harlem and around the world. That indulgence excites and energizes the creatives and Uptown natives, the A$AP Mob, and A$AP TyY, who is an advocate for #bikelife.
TyY has been working on new music for the 2021 year, following in the steps of his fellow A$AP Mob members A$AP Rocky as well as A$AP Ferg, who happens to be in the “Who Ain’t With Me” music video riding alongside TyY. Like them, TyY is coupling his tunes with sartorial flair and investing in a cool set of merchandise and product.
Partnering with dropptv, a shoppable streaming platform, the release of A$AP TyY’s new music video “Who Ain’t With Me” [AWAL/Kobalt music] offers his new merchandise through the platforms e-commerce interface. TyY is merging his lifestyle of bike riding with his sense of style into his apparel collection. He says, “droppTV is allowing me as an artist to monetize my merch throughout the music video. Fans can see what I’m wearing on-screen and purchase it that moment, so it was a no-brainer to partner with droppTV.”
Exclusively, TyY will be releasing his customized “A$AP TyY Air Force 1” which he collaborated with London based artist team, CroxxHatch, for a hand-painted design. CroxxHatch Creative Director Leena Tulsidas took an examined approach to design the shoes.
She states, “To design these 100% hand-made and hand-painted color-changing custom Air Force 1s, we drew inspiration from 3 things; TyY as a creative artist, his merchandise, and the style and influence of the A$AP Mob. We were able to get an insight into his new music and see the initial mock-ups of his upcoming merchandise.”
