Oakley And Justin Jefferson Add A New Chapter To The Signature Series

Justin Jefferson has never been the kind of athlete to let his uniform tell the entire story. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver has built a reputation not only through his performance on the field, but also through an unmistakable approach to personal style. Now, his relationship with Oakley is moving into its next phase with the launch of the Justin Jefferson Signature Series, a second collaboration that pushes further into the athlete’s visual language while maintaining the performance credentials that have defined the brand for decades.
Where the first collection introduced Jefferson’s aesthetic, the latest chapter feels more intentional. Chrome finishes, glass-effect transparency, violet accents and elevated packaging transform the eyewear from a traditional athlete collaboration into something closer to a personal design statement.
At the center of the collection is the Justin Jefferson Signature Series Highland, a silver glass-effect frame designed to evoke the visual qualities of polished crystal and chrome. Oakley’s Prizm™ Black lenses provide contrast and clarity, while a faceted polished-chrome icon introduces a jewelry-like detail to the silhouette.
It is a small but telling distinction. Jefferson’s influence is not simply being applied to an existing Oakley product; his moodboard is helping shape the visual identity of the collection itself.
The approach continues with the Stunt Devil and Stunt Devil S. Both silhouettes arrive in a Grey Ink Moondust colorway with matching stems, while the Stunt Devil is paired with Prizm™ Black lenses and the Stunt Devil S with Prizm™ Violet. A Matte Purple icon with satin chrome detailing connects the eyewear directly to Jefferson’s signature palette.
Performance remains central to the proposition. Black nosepads, bridge components and Unobtainium® socks are designed to keep the frames secure during movement, reinforcing Oakley’s long-standing ability to build products for athletes without making them feel confined to athletic environments.
That crossover is increasingly important. For athletes like Jefferson, the boundary between performance and lifestyle has become almost nonexistent. The same person who competes at the highest level is also building a recognizable visual identity away from the stadium. In that context, eyewear becomes more than equipment. It becomes part of the uniform.
Jefferson’s relationship with Oakley also arrives at a moment when his influence extends well beyond football. Forbes has previously recognized him among the world’s highest-paid athletes, with his earnings supported by both his record-setting NFL career and an expanding portfolio of brand partnerships.
That makes the Signature Series particularly relevant. The collaboration gives Jefferson another vehicle through which to translate the instincts that have made his personal style recognizable, while giving Oakley access to an athlete whose cultural presence extends beyond the field.
“I've always believed that what you wear makes a strong first impression,” Jefferson says. “With this collection, I wanted every detail to reflect my style. From the chrome finishes and purple accents to the premium feel when you first open the box, it’s the right balance of something that feels distinctly JJettas and Oakley.”
He adds, “Oakley gave me the freedom to create something that's true to who I am, and I'm excited for people to make it part of their own style, too.”
That sense of ownership is evident in the packaging as well. The collection arrives in a matte-black soft-touch sleeve finished with silver glitter foil branding, accompanied by an embossed-logo case and an oversized microfiber bag designed in collaboration with Jefferson.
The result is an experience that begins before the eyewear is even worn.
For Oakley, the strategy reflects an evolution in how the brand can work with athletes. Rather than treating the athlete as simply the face of a product, the Signature Series positions Jefferson as a creative participant in its development. For Jefferson, it creates another opportunity to build a signature vocabulary around the details he already gravitates toward: polished surfaces, bold color, controlled minimalism and pieces that can move between environments.
The Justin Jefferson Signature Series ultimately works because it does not force a choice between sport and style. Highland, Stunt Devil and Stunt Devil S are designed around the demands of movement, but their finishes and proportions are equally suited to the world outside the stadium.
That balance is increasingly becoming the point.
As athletes continue to expand their influence into fashion, entertainment and consumer culture, the most compelling collaborations are those where performance expertise and personal identity meet in the middle. With Jefferson’s second Signature Series, Oakley appears to have found that intersection—and given the next chapter of the partnership a distinctly JJettas point of view.
The Justin Jefferson Signature Series is available at Oakley.com and select Oakley retail stores.
