REVO Sunglasses: 80's Inspired Style & Action Ready
Written by Cassell Ferere
REVO sunglasses has come up with some of the coolest shades for the winter season; or any season for that matter with their new 1985 Collection.
I got a chance to take a pair on my recent winter retreat. This brand born from a NASA research project has unisex frames that can transcend your style and wherever you can take it.
Usually, I’m wary about frames on my faces when doing any extracurricular activity on a trip. I tend to bring sunglasses that are stylish and expensive in comparison to gas station frames and are not made for sport. REVO seemed to resolve those issues with their 1985 Collection. Containing 80’s inspired styles and classic sports looks, find which pair can compliment you.
The Arthur frames, which resemble that of sunglasses made famous by Top Gun actor, Tom Cruise, immediately impressed me how quickly I notice the dissipated feeling of wearing frames on my face. These lightweight shades are made from beta-titanium and have easily adjustable nose pads for extra comfort. With the logo set in a textured design located on the temple bars of the frames, the Arthur frames are rather easy to grip, even when wearing thick gloves.
The lenses are designed to transition seamlessly, taking you through any adventure you have planned this winter season. It keeps you capable of driving or reading something in the sunlight and simmering any glare along the way. The collection introduces two new lens colors, Revo Blue and Smoky Green while featuring six styles to choose from.
As I was able to wear these for the majority of my trip, I found them to become a favorite of those I own. I’m also proud to say I took these on an extreme test – as extreme as I can get. Going down the slopes in my pair was a confident descent as they did not give me the feeling as if they would fly off my face. Good to know, as summer will be not too far away and I’ll be trying to do a water test on these pairs for my own research purposes.
