Russell Westbrook And Honor The Gift Open Their First Flagship In Los Angeles

Honor the Gift is celebrating the grand opening of its Los Angeles flagship store this week, as the September month stirs up the streets of the four major cities of fashion week; New York, Milan, London, and Paris. Hosted by Russell Westbrook on September 24th, 2022, his first brick-and-mortar for Honor the Gift is a dream realized by Westbrook, who grew up in the heart of Los Angeles.
In his hometown of Los Angeles, Westbrook relishes the aura of his hometown. In a previous interview reflecting on the city streets, he states, “to be able to create a brand structured around the inner city and underserved communities.” He continued, “because that's where I grew up - where I’m from - [and] that’s what I relate to.”
The grand opening celebrated guests of Westbrook during the day and included many other attendees of all ages. Guests could enjoy food from Hart House, a quick bites restaurant from comedian Kevin Hart, face painting for kids, and music by DJ Nitrane to keep the vibe going.
The Los Angeles-based and inspired label recently debuted its Fall ’22 collection titled “District,” which is directly inspired by the Unified School District of Los Angeles.
