In honor of Día de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead in English, Stadium Goods has partnered with Espolòn Tequila and illustrious Mexican artist, Saner, to launch the limited-edition line of streetwear titled the “Calavera Collection.” Catching on to the collaboration trend of streetwear fashion and spirits, Stadium Goods adds tradition to its STADIUM line of merchandise in an exclusive capsule collection release.
The Calavera Collection features the Stadium Goods merchandise line as wearable art by the artist. The custom hoodie, sweatshirt, and t-shirts from the Stadium Goods’ STADIUM line come in neutral colorways adorned with Day of the Dead characters. Saner shares four one-of-a-kind designs of his signature style, inspired by Espolòn’s portfolio of popular tequila, displaying graphic prints that combine techniques from ancient Mayan artwork and modern-day graffiti.
Stadium Goods has made a name for itself as a marketplace for sneakers and streetwear as a consignment and reselling shop. Founded in 2015 by sneaker and streetwear connoisseurs, Stadium Goods became a beacon in the luxury fashion of sneakers and streetwear, ultimately acquired by Farfetch in 2019. As the brand expands its STADIUM line, they are excited to help share Mexican tradition with Saner and the Espolòn brand.
"Collaboration is at the heart of what we do at Stadium Goods and we’re proud to celebrate the time-honored holiday alongside Espolòn and Saner,” says Matthew Gomes, Senior Director of Retail at Stadium Goods. “There is a form of storytelling that happens when wearing streetwear, much like the storytelling that happens when celebrating Dia de Los Muertos." The Calavera Collection brings authentic Mexican tradition to modern culture, a passionate pillar of the Espolòn brand as part of Stadium Goods’ effort to expand its gamut of streetwear.
