SKIMS Are My Favorite Underwear, And I Think Kim Kardashian Knows Why

Respectfully, Kim Kardashian knows something about men’s underwear that many brands have yet to figure out: comfort is a matter of proper engineering, and sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. After years of searching for the right pair of underpants, I have found myself reaching for SKIMS more often than anything else in my drawer.
Men's underwear is an interesting category. It is arguably the most personal garment in a man's wardrobe, worn every day but rarely discussed with the same consideration given to denim, tailoring, or footwear. Yet, a poorly constructed pair can ruin an otherwise perfectly comfortable outfit. Too much fabric, insufficient room, an aggressive waistband, or material that loses its shape after a few washes can make getting dressed unnecessarily complicated.
This is where SKIMS has managed to capture my attention.
Founded by Kardashian, SKIMS has built its reputation around understanding the relationship between the body, fit, and fabric. While the brand initially became known for its approach to shapewear and foundational garments, its expansion into men's essentials feels like a natural extension of that philosophy. The men's underwear collection offers something that I find increasingly appealing: understated design with an emphasis on how a garment actually feels.
