With over 150 years of design leadership, Kohler Co. is getting out of the domestic home and into the public streets with two standout designers. Setting up shop in the streets of New York City for two days only, a celebration of a century and a half longevity of the brand will be mobile.
On Thursday, January 26, the first activation happens at the KOHLER Experience Center on 6 W. 22nd Street, and the second on January 27, in Union Square. Both days operate from 10 am to 4 pm each day at the Kohler Co. Heritage Colors Campaign pop-up truck.
Colm Dillane of KidSuper and Daniel Arsham will be giving away limited-edition items and a special gift from one of Kohler Co.’s latest collections of innovative fixtures. Guests can also order espresso drinks designed with latte art, boasting the color schemes of Kohler Co.’s newest creations.
Daniel Arsham recently launched his first runway for his Objects IV Life brand during Paris Fashion Week’s Fall-Winter 2023. Within Paris Fashion Week, Colm Dillane revealed his designs as the latest Louis Vuitton Men’s collaborator and, as the founder of the colorfully embellished brand KidSuper, hosted a special fashion presentation that 'made fun of' fashion. Both designers are artists with pure perspectives and have put their prints on the Kohler Co. name.
Activations from both collaborators on alternate days are hosted in separate locations, offering giveaway items like autographed merchandise by Arsham. Kohler will also allow visitors at the pop-up to cast a vote on their favorite color from the Kohler Co. Heritage Colors Campaign. The color collection hardware is visible on the pop-up truck and winners will be featured in the exclusive product collection. The campaign and product are gearing up to launch this summer, 2023.
