4 Common Gym Clothing Mistakes Women Are Making Even Today:

Choosing to wear too tight gym clothes.

The gym never promotes the culture where you have to wear clothes one or two sizes small to you. It’s not a clear choice of fitted clothes. Such apparel is not too loose or tight on your body.

Fitted clothes should fit your body shape and size perfectly. These articles must help you perform your daily gym activities better. 

Instead, women choose to wear the wrong sizes most of the time. Due to that habit, they have breathing issues, blood clotting issues, back and neck pain issues. 

So, it is highly recommended for today's women to measure their body shape and size first. Then, order clothes accordingly. This way, you can exercise properly and not develop any more physical ailments. 

Not buying a good and ergonomic sports bra.

Investing in a sports bra is a cool idea, especially in the athleisure category. Wearing these bras, you can also go out for your morning/evening/ jogs, sprints, or walks.

But if you are not choosing the right-sized bra or with the right features, it can start to puncture the air in your chest. Further, the wrong pattern or size of the bra can ache your neck, shoulder, and chest when performing intense workouts. 

The best is to search for a zip front sports bra as an example. Because these bras are adjustable, have a lot of patterns/shades, and are very ergonomic because of their fabric. 

Wearing flip-flops when going to the gym for intense workouts.

Wearing flip-flops makes one homely and comfortable. But they do not fulfill the purpose of protecting your feet and soul when you have to continuously workout for 1-2 hours. Instead, you might fall, slip, and sprain your ankle when you’re wearing them in a gym. 

Flip-flops are certainly not a good or a safe idea when you want to run your time on a treadmill. You can end up hurting yourself severely when you increase the speed or inclination. 

The best solution here is to wear socks and shoes that are airy and breathy. Don’t go for tight shoes or socks. That would simply ache your feet more. Go for light-colored shoes and socks that would not make you sweat a lot. But don’t wear too light shoes or socks. 

The footwear ultimately should be apt as per your feet size. This sports footwear should enhance your walk and help soothe the ache in your ankle, ball of the foot, arch, or heel.

Not washing the gym wear regularly.

We know that it’s a sensitive topic. Not many women want to discuss it out of disgust and shame. But wouldn’t you agree that we all sometimes fall lazy, especially in winters or odd weather, to wash gym wear regularly?

The sweat build-up start commences in the various corners of your clothes if you avoid washing them regularly. And next, when you wonder that your gym smells bad and funny, it’s most probably because of that. 

You might think that spraying deo would be enough on these clothes. But the fragrance does not last long. And if you keep wearing dirty clothes, people might observe it too. They probably will not like to exercise with you if you smell too bad regularly. 

Plus, if you continue to wear dirty and unwashed gym clothes, it might start skin irritation and skin rashes. 

We advise you to wash your gym clothes at least twice a week to avoid these issues. Set a schedule aside for that. Do it in the late evening if not in the morning. Wash it with your other clothes to reduce the burden of finding another time for these clothes.
